On November 14, 2017, the Wuyi County Government and Morita New Materials Co., Ltd. signed a project cooperation agreement. Zhang Xusheng, Deputy Secretary of the County Committee and County Mayor, delivered a speech at the ceremony, while Fu Xianping, Deputy County Mayor, presided over the signing ceremony.

       The total investment of the microelectronics new material project is 800 million yuan, with a total area of approximately 80000 square meters. It is divided into two phases of construction, and all projects are completed and put into operation. It is expected that the annual sales will be 2 billion yuan. Morita Chemicals Co., Ltd. has a history of over 100 years and is the founder and leader of the fluoride chemistry industry in Japan. It enjoys a high reputation in the international chemical industry.

       Zhang Xusheng, on behalf of the county party committee and government, congratulated the successful settlement of the microelectronics new material project in Wuyi. He said that Wuyi is known as the "hometown of fluorite". As the earliest region in China to extract and utilize fluorite, the chemical industry with fluoride as its main product has flourished since the 1990s, making important contributions to the industrial development of Wuyi. Among them, Sanmei Chemical Co., Ltd. has become the largest enterprise in our county, ranking first among the "Top 100 Tax Payers" for more than 10 consecutive years, and winning the "Top 500 National Chemical Enterprises"、 The title of "Top 100 Enterprises in China's Chemical Manufacturing Industry", etc. Etching technology is the basic manufacturing process for semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. The implementation of this project will lay a more solid foundation for the development of our county's microelectronics industry, and will also provide a new army of high-quality industries for the global chemical market. The county party committee and government will continue to uphold the concept of "respecting business, valuing business, being pro business, and loving business", and make every effort to build a development platform and provide comprehensive services for enterprises. Zhang Xusheng hopes that Zhejiang Morita New Materials Co., Ltd. can take this opportunity to accelerate project construction, strive for early production, and promote the global expansion of Wuyi Chemical brand. He also hopes to further deepen communication and cooperation with Japan Morita Co., Ltd., continuously expand cooperation fields and scale, achieve mutual benefit and common development at a higher level, and create a model of Sino Japanese cooperation.
